World No.4 Sony Dwi Kuncoro of Indonesia has withdrawn from Indian Open Super Series badminton men's event beginning in New Delhi on Tuesday and two top-20 players from the women's singles event.
China's World No. 13 Jiang Yanjiao and 15th ranked Fanetri Lindaweni of Indonesia have pulled out from the women's draw. India's Saina Nehwal is the top seed. Also read: Rape cases in Delhi give Saina a scare.
