Ace Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal continued her good showing at the World Badminton Championships in Paris as she beat Russia's Ella Diehl 21-14, 21-18 in the 3rd round.

Saina has now moved into the quarter finals of the World Championships, a stage where she was knocked out last year in front of her home crowd in Hyderabad.

The World No 2 will now look forward to the challenge from Chinese opponents who will be the biggest impediments in Saina's path to glory.

Saina had yesterday beaten Chinese Taipei's Hsian Huan Chen 20-22, 21-15, 21-8 in the second round of the women's singles here.
