New Delhi:
The agency wants to conduct 3500 tests in the present year to ensure that instances of failed doping tests can be minimised by as much as is possible. "We have already conducted 1800 tests this year and will look to reach the 3500 mark by the end of 2011," Rahul Bhatnagar, the NADA director told NDTV.
He also said that the results of the raids and tests conducted at the Sports Authority of India centre in Bangalore on Monday will be revealed next week.
NADA has tested around 7000 athletes since 2009 and have found 250 athletes guilty of using banned substances.
