Talking about the bowling department, UP were under pressure throughout the game. It was an off day, to be fair, for their bowlers, who didn't execute the plan properly and leaked a lot of freebies. For Mumbai, they were under pressure too but they collectively come back stronger in the second half of the first innings to squeeze out UP under a par total.

Both the teams were in a similar position at the hallway break with the bat. UP were in a fantastic position with the openers putting up a good show but once Mumbai got the breakthrough, there was a sudden downfall and they lost 7 wickets inside 10 overs, adding just 51 runs. On the contrary side, Mumbai lost Amelia Kerr early on, but the duo of Hayley Matthews and Natalie Sciver-Brunt steadied the ship by adding 92 runs and almost putting the game to bed. Mumbai did lost a couple of wickets but a win was never in doubt.

!
A convincing win for Mumbai! A change in batting order brings a change in results for them! The win was set up for bowlers and Hayley Matthews did her job perfectly to get crucial two points. For UP, they are realistically out of the competition but mathematically still not out. They badly needed to win this game but failed miserably in the second innings.
