Roger Federer, the 17-time Grand Slam champion, was left stranded when a school kid stunned him with a perfect lob shot during an exhibition game at Madison Square in New York on Thursday.
The kid - not more than 12 or 13 years old - wearing jeans and a hoodie, was invited by Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov for a friendly rally against the mighty Federer.
After he drove a backhand towards Federer at the net, the Swiss bunted back a volley.
The kid had the legend exactly where he wanted, unleashing a perfect lob that even Federer could not have retrieved if he tried.

The school-going boy high-fived Dimitrov before returning to the stands. The talented boy inspired the Bulgarian, who went on to win the match 6-2, 1-6, 7-5.
