Meet Patrick Mouratoglou, Serena Williams' 'special one'

They do no make frequent public appearances. So when Serena Williams came out with boyfriend Patrick Mouratoglou for a photo-shoot after winning the Sony Open title in Miami, they both presented a picture-perfect pose.

They do no make frequent public appearances. So when Serena Williams came out with boyfriend Patrick Mouratoglou for a photo-shoot after winning the Sony Open title in Miami, they both presented a picture-perfect pose.

Mouratoglou is a French tennis coach who has mentored several internationally acclaimed tennis stars. Serena though has been his most impressive 'student'.

Mouratoglou began coaching Serena in 2012 at a time when the American was not in the best of her form. It is believed that while Serena's tennis improved, her off-court love life blossomed as well.

There have been reports since of tiffs with UK's The Telegraph reporting that one of Serena's tweet perhaps showed all was not well with 43-year-old Mouratoglou.

“Me. Mine. Alone. Myself. I. One. Solo. Unaccompanied,” read one of her messages earlier this year.

On the Crandon Park beach in Miami though, it was clear that life off the court was as good as the one on it, if not better.
