Djokovic Sets Up US Open Final Against Wawrinka

Novak Djokovic will be looking to defend his men's singles title at the US Open when he takes on Stan Wawrinka in the final

Siegemund/Pavic defeated Vandeweghe/Ram 6-4, 6-4 to clinch the first title on offer at the 2016 US Open

The title match was followed by the men's singles semi-final between Novak Djokovic vs Gael Monfils

And as expected, the Serb entered his seventh US Open men's singles final defeating Monfils in four sets

Djokovic will be vying for his third US Open title on Sunday after winning in 2011 and 2015

A little while later Stan Wawrinka took on Kei Nishikori in the other semi-final

Though Wawrinka lost the first set, he came back strongly to clinch the next three and make his way into the final

This is the Swiss player's first final at the US Open

Nishikori, on the other hand, failed to replicate his performance of 2014 when he reached the final of the tournament
