World Cup | India Crush Pakistan By 88 Runs To Extend Unbeaten Streak

India produced a commanding all-round performance to defeat Pakistan by 88 runs in their ICC Women’s World Cup clash at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday. Batting first, India posted a competitive 247 on a sluggish track, thanks to contrasting knocks from Harleen Deol and Richa Ghosh. Deol scored a composed 46 off 65 balls, while Ghosh’s quickfire 35 off 20 balls provided the late impetus. Opener Pratika Rawal (31) gave India a brisk start, and Smriti Mandhana added 23 before falling inside the powerplay. Jemimah Rodrigues contributed 32, and the experienced pair of Deepti Sharma and Sneh Rana steadied the innings with a 42-run partnership.
