Twist In Asia Cup Drama: No Withdrawal, Match Delayed, Claims Pak Board
The drama continues and there is a new twist in the tale as the Pakistan vs United Arab Emirates match has now been delayed by one hour. Earlier, sources told NDTV that Pakistan were about to pull out of the tournament over the handshake controversy against India during their match. Notably, things took a turn for the worse after Indian players refused to shake hands with Pakistan players during their match on September 14. After that, Pakistan appealed to the International Cricket Council against it and twice requested the side to remove the match referee Andy Pycroft. However, the ICC has turned down the request on both occasions.
