Shooter Manu Bhaker became independent India's first athlete to win two medals in a single edition of Olympics. She won one bronze in 10m air pistol women's final and another one in 10m air pistol mixed team event, along with Sarabjot Singh.

Manu Bhaker's journey began with a heartbreak in Tokyo 2020 Olympics, where she faced a pistol malfunction in the final of 10m air pistol women's final and missed out on a medal.
