There was no salvaging of pride for the Mumbai Indians who suffered another defeat in what has been a torrid Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season, losing to Kolkata Knight Riders by 18 runs in a rain-affected match on Saturday. For KKR, Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine were exceptional with the ball yet again, with the former taking home the Player of the Match award for his figures of 2/17.
