Rohit Sharma took the field against Chennai Super Kings on Thursday, wearing a special pair of shoes. Rohit was spotted wearing the three-stripe embroidered shoe collection from German sportswear giant Adidas, which promotes the "End Plastic Waste" message.
Rohit's stay in the middle though was brief as he was dismissed for a duck on the second delivery of the first over of Mumbai's innings.
Meanwhile, opener Ishan Kishan was dismissed for a golden duck.
An unbeaten half-century by Tilak Varma helped MI post 155 for seven in 20 overs, setting a target of 156 runs.
Varma smacked 51 runs off 43 balls, including three fours and two maximums.
Mukesh Choudhary was in fiery form for CSK's bowling department, taking three wickets off three overs and conceding only 19 runs. Dwayne Bravo bagged two dismissals, Mitchell Santner and Maheesh Theekshana took a wicket each.
Mumbai are also winless this season and have lost all six of their games.
