Kane Williamson, Abhishek Sharma and Nicholas Pooran starred with the bat as SunRisers Hyderabad defeated Gujarat Titans by eight wickets in the 21st game of IPL 2022 season at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai. Openers Williamson and Abhishek put on 64 runs for the opening wicket. Abhishek might have departed after scoring 42 but in the end, the efforts of Williamson and Pooran ensured that SunRisers walk away with a victory. Williamson scored 57 while Pooran remained unbeaten on 34. Earlier, Hardik Pandya and Abhinav Manohar played knocks of 50 and 35 respectively as Gujarat Titans posted 162/7 against SunRisers Hyderabad. Kane Williamson's side registered their second win of the ongoing season while Gujarat Titans suffered their first loss.
