Rajasthan Royals (RR) aced the game on the field and social media on Saturday when they followed a comprehensive win over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Mumbai with a social media post teasing KKR with a Shah Rukh Khan pose and a song from one of Shah Rukh's iconic films. RR posted on social media a short video where one of their players is seen recreating a popular Shah Rukh Khan move with song from the film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge playing in the background.
RR dominated the contest with both bat and ball as Chris Morris took 4 for 33 to restrict KKR to 133 for 9 in 20 overs.
The batsmen, led by captain Sanju Samson, didn't have any difficulty chasing the modest total at Wankhede Stadium as RR won by six wickets in 18.5 overs.
With this win Rajasthan moved off the bottom of the IPL 2021 points table and they are now placed sixth with four points from five matches.
KKR, on the other hand, have slipped to the bottom of the table with just two points from five games.
RR will now have a short break from cricket as they move from Mumbai to Delhi and take on Mumbai Indians in their next match on Thursday, April 29.
KKR will move to Ahmedabad and take on Punjab Kings on Monday.
Sunday will see the last IPL games in the Chennai and Mumbai legs as Royal Challengers Bangalore take on Chennai Super Kings in Mumbai and Delhi Capitals play SunRisers Hyderabad in Chennai.
