Yuvraj Singh Shouldn't be Ignored Because he's Over 30: Gavaskar

Former Indian opener Sunil Gavaskar feels that the selectors should not rule out Yuvraj Singh just because he is above thirty. Gavaskar believes that form should matter and not age. He adds that Yuvraj will provide depth to the Indian batting and can bowl those extra overs. The 66-year-old emphasised how the left-hander's experience could help the team. India are currently trailing 2-1 in the five-match series against South Africa. Gavaskar thinks India need better starts and maybe the likes of Shikhar Dhawan can be rested while Ajinkya Rahane should open the batting.
