If An Indian Does What Smith Did, He Should Not Be Punished: Gavaskar
The ICC on Wednesday decided not to take any action against Australian captain Steve Smith over the DRS referral controversy. Reacting to the news, Sunil Gavaskar said that the match referee and ICC probably felt Smith's act was not serious enough to deserve a punishment and it didn't matter what the cricketing world thought of the matter. The former India captain also added that no Indian player should now be punished if he goes on to do what the Australian skipper has done.
