In the book, entitled "I Am Zlatan Ibrahimovic", Ibra says he considered quitting football for good in 2009-2010 when things reached rock-bottom with Guardiola, according to Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet which published excerpts on Thursday.
The pair had a frosty relationship and had a major blow-out after a Champions League match against Villareal when Ibra was only allowed to play five minutes at the end of the game, after which he confronted Guardiola.
"I screamed: 'You have no ba**s!' And things probably much worse than that, and then I added: 'You shit yourself for Mourinho. You can go to hell!' I was totally crazy," he writes in the book, according to Aftonbladet.
"If I were Guardiola I would've been scared," he added, according to other excerpts published in Expressen.
