Valencia regained top spot in La Liga with a 2-0 victory over Sevilla on Sunday. In a bad-tempered match, Juan Sanchez gave Valencia the lead mid-way through the second half. Angulo added a second deep into injury time before being sent off for a crowd-inciting goal celebration.Barcelona's away record has been dismal this season and they continued their poor form against Real Betis. Three minutes into the game, Dani Martin put Betis ahead tapping in a great cross from Joaquin.Barcelona managed to find the equaliser, but only after Ito Alvarez headed home an own goal in the 55th minute.In the 78th minute, Dani scored his fourth goal in the La Liga. The in-form striker tapped the ball past the Barca keeper for a 2-1 win for Betis. Valencia took the lead against Sevilla in the 66th minute. Juan Sanchez with a great header to deflect in Kily Gonzalez' drive into the back of the net. Sevilla put more pressure on themselves after Victor Salas was sent off in the 77th minute for a bad challenge.In the dying seconds, Valencia made it 2-0. Miguel Angel Angulo beat the off side trap before delicately tapping the ball past the advancing keeper. Just moments later, Angulo's smile disappeared after the referee sent him off for an over exuberant celebration.But Valencia will still be content with the 2-0 victory and the top spot in La Liga once again. Real Madrid are a point behind after they beat Villarreal 3-0. Deportivo are in fourth place behind Real Betis with Barcelona wrapping up the top five.
