LUCKY BREAK FOR ERIKSEN
A lucky Christian Eriksen goal secured all three points for Tottenham, who beat Stoke 4-1 at the Bet365 Stadium. The goals all arrived in the space of 11 frantic second-half minutes; first Spurs stormed through on the break and Dele Alli cut the ball back for Eriksen, who swept his finish past Jack Butland. Stoke weren't to be cowed and quickly equalised due to an error by Hugo Lloris, who smashed an attempted clearance against Mame Diouf, the forward gleefully accepting the invitation to roll the ball into an empty net. Eriksen had the last laugh, the Dane's indirect free kick creeping past Butland, who was expecting Harry Kane to head it home.

FULL TIME STOKE CITY 1 TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 2
The final whistle confirms a fourth win in a row for Spurs with a 2-1 victory over Stoke, who remain ensconced in the relegation zone.
90'
YELLOW CARD
Papa Alioune N'Diaye and Danny Rose both pick up a last-minute booking for an overreaction to a tackle.
90'
LAST CHANCE
Allen gets one last chance to head Shaqiri's cross at goal, but it's all too easy for the goalkeeper.
90'
SUBSTITUTION
Dier belts a hopeless shot way over the bar from 25 yards, and moments later Stoke throw on Kurt Zouma for the last minute of stoppage time, with Bauer making way.
90'
YELLOW CARD
Kane picks up a silly booking for kicking the ball away in anger.
90'
LOW POWER
Allen has to adjust his body to divert Bauer's cross towards goal, but there's no power involved and it makes for an easy save for Lloris.
90'
YELLOW CARD
The ref allows play to go on after Bruno Martins Indi fouls Eriksen, but the centre back is motioned over a few minutes later to receive a caution.
90'
SUBSTITUTION
Dele Alli looks disappointed to see his number on the board, but the midfielder nevertheless trudges off to make way for Moussa Sissoko.

SHAWCROSS GOES CLOSE
Shaqiri chases down a lost cause and turns back on himself to chip in a lovely cross. Shawcross arrives at the back post but can only direct his header down and wide of the net.
85'
END TO END STUFF
There are chances at both ends as the game heats up; first the Potters speed forward on the break, where Diouf passes straight to the opposition instead of finding one of several options, before Lamela shoots only just wide from 18 yards.
83'
ALL TOO CASUAL
Eric Dier looks casual as he slightly underhits a backpass, forcing Lloris to hit top speed to get there before Tyrese Campbell can take advantage.
82'
Substitution
Eric Dier (on). Victor Wanyama (off). (Tottenham Hotspur)
81'
SUBSTITUTION
Eric Dier is given a late runout in place of Victor Wanyama.
80'
OFF THE BAR
Joe Allen and Xherdan Shaqiri stand over the free kick, but it's the latter who floats it over the wall to bounce back off the corner of the stanchion.
79'
Yellow Card
Serge Aurier (Tottenham Hotspur)
79'
YELLOW CARD
Serge Aurier dives in to bring down Diouf from behind 20 yards from goal, and the right back only escapes a dismissal because Jan Vertonghen was nearby.
78'
Substitution
Peter Crouch (on). Glen Johnson (off). (Stoke City)
78'
SUBSTITUTION
Paul Lambert turns to plan B as Peter Crouch replaces right back Glen Johnson, Moritz Bauer dropping back into defence to compensate for the loss.
77'
KANE BLOCKED OFF
Alli rolls a pass to his left for Kane, who looks like he has space inside the penalty area for a moment, but two Stoke shirts pop up from nowhere to block the sharpshooter's strike.
74'
PETTY EXCHANGE
Diouf and Rose exchange a heated series of words as Eriksen stands over the free kick; the Spurs man seems to be the least popular person inside the stadium today. When the free kick is eventually taken it's worked to Erik Lamela, who spoons his shot disappointingly over the bar.
72'
YELLOW CARD
Johnson waves a lazy leg to trip Rose only just outside the area on the left, resulting in a booking, but it could have been so much worse.
71'
Yellow Card
Glen Johnson (Stoke City)
69'
Substitution
Tyrese Campbell (on). Ramadan Sobhi (off). (Stoke City)
69'
PAUCITY OF PUNCHING
Lloris again can only punch a corner up in the air; the Spurs skipper tries to claim the ball at the second attempt but is beaten to it by Erik Pieters, whose header drops wide of the right-hand post.
7'
EVEN START
The Potters are holding their own so far, with neither side able to gain much of a territorial foothold as yet.
68'
SUBSTITUTION
18-year-old striker Tyrese Campbell is handed a chance to make his mark, with Ramadan Sobhi retiring to the bench.
67'
Substitution
Erik Lamela (on). Son Heung-Min (off). (Tottenham Hotspur)
67'
SUBSTITUTION
Mauricio Pochettino decides to make a change, introducing Erik Lamela for Son, who hasn't had his best game today.
63'
Goal

63'
GOAL!!! TOTTENHAM
It doesn't take long for Spurs to regain the lead; a Glen Johnson foul over by the touchline results in a free kick, which CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN bends in towards goal. Harry Kane can't quite connect with his head, but it's enough to unsettle Jack Butland, who allows the ball to bounce into the corner of the net.
90'
Yellow Card
Danny Rose (Tottenham Hotspur)
60'
BODY ON THE LINE
Diouf took an accidental blow to the head from Lloris in the act of obtaining that chance, and the forward has to be given medical treatment for a few minutes before eventually being cleared to continue.
57'
Goal
Mame Diouf (Stoke City)
57'
GOAL!!! STOKE
Xherdan Shaqiri's curled pass around the corner looks like it's going to be cleared by Hugo Lloris before MAME DIOUF can reach it, but instead the Spurs keeper smashes his attempted clearance against the Senegalese, gifting him an open goal to pass the ball into. That's two errors in two weeks for the beleaguered Lloris.
57'
NO PENALTY
Heung-Min Son bursts into the box and appears to be brought down from behind by Ryan Shawcross just as Butland arrives to knock the ball away. The ref appears not to notice anything amiss.
55'
ROSE HURT
Danny Rose stays down for a minute after being felled by Joe Allen's late challenge; the diminutive full back receives as little sympathy from the home crowd as you'd expect.
52'
Goal
Christian Eriksen. Assist by Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur)
52'
GOAL!!! TOTTENHAM
Stoke are carved open by a turnover of possession as CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN seizes a loose ball and sends Dele Alli in behind the defence with an instant slicing pass. The young playmaker trots into the penalty area and languidly returns the pass to Eriksen, who arrives late to sweep a finish past Jack Butland and two defenders on the line.
42'
TIME RUNNING OUT
As we race towards half time, there's little feeling that either side are going to manage a goal before the break.
39'
ROSE UNDER FIRE
Poor Danny Rose has been booed every time he's touched the ball so far, which is pretty mystifying. The left back was once involved in a sending off for Ryan Shawcross, but that was several years ago now.
36'
POSSESSION PLAY
Tottenham have established a degree of dominance over possession, but it's rare that they look capable of penetrating the Stoke back line.
33'
DEFENDER'S FINISH
Pieters tries to make amends with an effort on goal from 20 yards, but it's nowhere near hitting the target.
32'
Yellow Card
Erik Pieters (Stoke City)
32'
YELLOW CARD
Pieters hacks down Alli twice in quick succession, earning himself an early yellow card. The experienced defender will have to be careful now.
4'
HANDBAGS AT DAWN
There's a minor spot of handbags following a foul by Ryan Shawcross on Dele Alli, but the sparring pair quickly realise life's too short and share a grin before carrying on.
51'
WANYAMA OFF TARGET
Danny Rose sends a corner rising to the back stick, where Victor Wanyama leaps above the pack but is unable to direct his header between the posts.
49'
SERIAL OFFENDER
Xherdan Shaqiri has committed three fouls since half time and is fortunate to have had his name taken.
46'
SECOND HALF
The teams are back out and the second half is underway, with neither manager having made any changes at the break. Stoke go on the attack straight away as Mame Diouf latches onto a pass into the channel and drags an early shot wide of the target.
45'
ONE CHANCE APIECE
Spurs have dominated possession while struggling to create clear-cut chances, and in fact each side has wasted just one superb opportunity to open the scoring. Stoke's came and went early on as Erik Pieters picked out Mame Diouf with an inch-perfect cutback, only for the forward to skew his finish wide from near the penalty spot. Tottenham had to wait a while but created an opening when Dele Alli flicked a through ball into the path of Heung-Min Son, who ran through on goal to be denied by an excellent save from the onrushing Jack Butland. Stay tuned for all the action after the break.
45'
HALF TIME STOKE CITY 0 TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 0
We've reached the break here at the Bet365, where the game remains locked in a goalless stalemate.
45'
WANYAMA SAVES THE DAY
Wanyama sprints back to step in and make a perfectly-timed tackle on Bauer, who was approaching the goal at speed.
31'
FREE KICK FAILURE
The visitors squander the opportunity to make use of a free kick just outside the box, choosing to play it short and allowing the move to get bogged down. Eventually Alli summons a low cross that's easily cut out.
28'
NO PENALTY
The home fans are up in arms after Sobhi wriggles past Victor Wanyama inside the penalty area and goes to ground, but the contact looked minimal at best, an impression the referee clearly shares.
26'
VERTONGHEN SAVES THE DAY
Jan Vertonghen slides in with a vital interception as Moritz Bauer attemts to slide Diouf in behind the Tottenham defence.
23'
SON DENIED
Alli's flicked pass allows Heung-Min Son to speed between Shawcross and Johnson to bear down on goal, only for Butland to charge from his line and deny the South Korean with a terrific sprawling save. That's one excellent chance each now.
20'
OVER FROM ERIKSEN
Eriksen lines it up and tries to catch Jack Butland off guard with a powerful dipper, but the skilful Dane can't keep his effort under the bar.
19'
HIGH KNEE
Ramadan Sobhi's knee accidentally connects with Danny Rose's chest as the winger goes for a high ball, gifting Spurs a free kick level with the penalty area.
16'
KANE ABLE
There's a collective intake of breath from the away end as Harry Kane goes flying over Pieters' outstretched leg, but the England striker is straight back up on his feet.
13'
SPECULATIVE SHOT
Christian Eriksen chases a ball into the right-hand channel and decides to go for goal early, shooting high and wide from a very ambitious position.
12'
WHAT A MISS
Joe Allen spots the run of the overlapping Erik Pieters and plays a perfect pass into the Dutchman's path. Pieters picks out Mame Diouf with a clever cutback, but the forward disappoints by skewing his first-time finish wide from near the penalty spot. That was a great chance to open the scoring.
10'
DODGY KEEPER
Xherdan Shaqiri sends a corner drifting into the goalmouth from the right, and Hugo Lloris steps off his line to punch the ball unconvincingly into the air before catching it at the second attempt.
1'
KICK OFF
Following a heartfelt tribute to the late Ray Wilkins, the ref's whistle gets us underway here at the Bet365 Stadium.

TOTTENHAM TEAM NEWS
The big news is that Harry Kane starts at the expense of Erik Lamela, while Eric Dier also moves to the bench to make way for Victor Wanyama. Mauricio Pochettino has rotated his full backs, replacing Kieran Trippier and Ben Davies with Serge Aurier and Danny Rose.

STOKE TEAM NEWS
Stoke boss Paul Lambert has picked an unchanged side from the team that started against Arsenal. Kurt Zouma returns to the bench after recovering from a knee problem, but today's game comes too soon for Eric Choupo-Moting.

STOKE CITY V TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
It's crunch time for Stoke, who desperately need to start picking up points if they want to climb out of the relegation zone. Only six games remain for the Potters to haul themselves out of peril, and winning will be a tall order today against in-form Tottenham. Stoke have conceded 61 goals this season, the most in the Premier League, and they could be up against goalscorer supreme Harry Kane, who may start this afternoon after coming off the bench against Chelsea last weekend following a quicker-than-expected return from ankle ligament damage. Join me, Luke Ostler, at 3pm BST for all the action from the Bet365 Stadium.
