Chistophe Landrin's second-half equaliser gave second-placed Lille a 1-1 draw at RC Lens in the Ligue 1 northern derby on Saturday. Lille, with 30 points from 15 games, remain three points behind unbeaten leaders Olympique Lyon, who were held to a goalless draw by 10-man Paris St Germain on Friday. Lens gradually built up the pressure after a shaky start. And the hosts broke the deadlock just before the interval, midfielder Olivier Thomert latching on to a Patrick Barul cross from the right for his first goal of the season. Lille replied just before the hour when midfielder Chistophe Landrin scored direct from a free-kick from the left which Stiphane Dumont allowed through his legs. Lens had chances to retake the lead but they were foiled by visiting keeper Tony Sylva. So, 1-1 it stayed - Lille, with 30 points from 15 games, now three points behind unbeaten leaders Lyon. Lens, who have not won in their last 12 matches, are 16th with 15 points. (AP)
