A muscle injury has sidelined AC Milan's Brazilian star Ronaldinho against Catania in the Serie A.
Ronaldinho hurt himself during the Devils' last training session on Saturday, forcing coach Carlo Ancelotti to add his name to a long injury list.
Midfielders Andrea Pirlo, Massimo Ambrosini, Clarence Seedorf, defender Daniele Bonera and strikers Filippo Inzaghi and Marco Borriello also won't be available for the Sunday's game at the Giuseppe Meazza.
Ancelotti is likely to field Brazilian Pato and Ukraine's Andriy Shevchenko upfront with Kaka as supporting striker.
The coach played down the alleged complaints from Kaka, who has said he would prefer to play in a more attacking role.
"There's no problem at all," Ancelotti said. "I know well what Kaka thinks and I don't see all this unease from the player.
"He plays a little more behind, compared to last season. I talk with him every day. We had a moment of discussion, but there is no trouble."
The Devils go into the home game with Catania after notching a single point from their last two league outings, which has seen them drop them six points behind leaders Inter Milan.
