FIFA World Cup | Ronaldo Ready, Ruben Dias A Doubt For Portugal World Cup Opener

Portugal completed preparations ahead of their World Cup opener against Republic of Congo, with defender Ruben Dias once again training separately from the squad on Tuesday morning. Dias took part in individual drills on the pitch but did not join the rest of the squad, leaving the centre-back a doubt for the opening match. Cristiano Ronaldo appeared in good spirits and showed no signs of fitness concerns. The Portugal captain is set to play in his sixth World Cup and will be aiming to score in six different editions of the competition. Portugal begin their Group K campaign against Congo, before matches with Colombia and Uzbekistan.
