Justice Mukul Mudgal's committee is set to start a fresh round of investigation into the IPL 2013 spot-fixing and betting scandal. The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected a panel proposed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India after questions of conflict of interest were raised against all three men on the Board’s list – Ravi Shastri, ex-Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court Jai Narain Patel and former CBI boss RK Raghavan. The ambit of the probe will be limited to the 13 names that figure in the sealed envelope that the Mudgal committee submitted to the Supreme Court on February 10. One of the names if that of 'suspended' BCCI president N. Srinivasan. A formal order will be given by the Supreme Court on April 29.
