SCO vs NED, World Cup Qualifier Highlights: Netherlands have become the 10th team to qualify for the 2023 ODI World Cup in India. They entered the big league by defeating Scotland in a World Cup qualifier game. Batting first, Scotland notched 277/9 in 50 overs. Netherlands needed to chase the target in 44 overs to overhaul Scotland's run-rate and qualify for the World Cup. They did so in 42.5 overs, thanks to Bas de Leede's 92-ball 123. Sri Lanka have already booked their place, while World Cup Qualifier hosts Zimbabwe missed a huge opportunity after losing to Scotland on Tuesday. (Live Scorecard)

The openers gave a good start, the intent was there right from the start but Netherlands needed that one big performance and it came from Bas de Leede. Scott Edwards and Saqib Zulfiqar too played a good hand but it was Bas de Leede who made things possible. At the innings break, Bas de Leede's fifer was overshadowed but now it feels how important was that.

Ohh Scotland what have you done! Scotland had the upper hand, they had a better run rate but the way Scotland were playing, it felt like the pressure was on them. Overthrows, dropped catches, sloppy fielding. In a big match, they have felt the pressure but not Netherlands though. They have done the unimaginable.
