A wicket-keeper batsman from Victoria, Tim Ludeman first played for his state in 2009, after playing in the under-age sides. But during the off season, he immediately switched to South Australia. This move paid huge dividends as Ludeman stepped into the team at the exact time when Graham Manou received a call-up to the Australian ODI side.
Manou's loss was Ludeman's gain, as the latter made the most of his opportunity and gave decent performances, scoring fifties against Victoria and New South Wales. In 2007-08, Ludeman was named wicket-keeper of the year and was also included in Victoria's grade cricket team.
