That brings us to the close of a hard-fought series. The hosts have fared well to prove their caliber on the biggest stage. It will do them a world of good if they are given more matches to play. On the other hand, the Windies would be more or less satisfied with their performances but still a lot is left to be desired. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. Join us for the future games. Till then, adios and take care!
Windies skipper, Jason Holder says that it feels really good. Mentions that they have been playing decent cricket for a year but didn't end up on the right side. Adds that he is happy to win a series in Zimbabwe. States the conditions were tough and the DRS errors didn't help their cause. Credits Zimbabwe for the way they played. Feels that it is always good to play competitive cricket. Lauds Graeme Cremer and the other spinners for bowling well. Reckons that it would be good if there is a little more life on the tracks for the seamers. Feels that when it comes to technology, it looks pretty straight on TV but things sometimes change when the Hawk Eye comes into play. Adds that they have very less time to make a decision on the review. Feels that they are going in the right direction. Informs that they will have a training camp in Australia and then will go to New Zealand. Ends by saying they need to adapt to the conditions.
Man of the Series, Devendra Bishoo is really elated to get the award especially after having a tough time in England. Adds the pitch was a bit slower in the second Test and he found it really tough to get going. Informs he keeps practicing in the nets on his variations, especially on the googlies and is happy to execute it well here. He is really looking forward to the New Zealand tour.
Man of the Match, Sikandar Raza says that they put emphasis on fitness and they have followed the protocol well. Adds that it feels good that they have improved as a side. Mentions that he was not aware of becoming the 2nd player in the history of Test cricket to score two eighties and pick up a 5-fer in a match and is humbled after knowing it. Adds that having his name alongside a legend like Jacques Kallis is an honour for him. Rues the fact that he had a poor first Test match but he came back well this time and he is also pleased with the way his side bounced back. Ends asserting that he wants to give the best for his country.
Zimbabwe skipper, Graeme Cremer feels really good to come back from behind and says he has a team that has the potential to fight. Rues the dropped catches that have cost them. Opines the wicket wasn't doing anything either and that is why those dropped chances proved costlier. On the reviews, he laughs and says whoever bowls in his team and hits the pads, wants to get it reviewed. States the confidence should come from the keeper if one has to opt for the DRS. Praises Sikandar Raza, especially for his effort with the ball. His job was to hold one end up but picking up a 5-fer shows how effective he was. Is short of words to describe the way Raza batted and reckons he is a great all-rounder for them who is only getting better with each game. Lauds Regis Chakabva as he delivered when his side was in trouble. Ends by saying that the wicket-keeper needed it as he was having a tough outing.
It seemed that Zimbabwe would crumble under pressure when they were 46/4 but it was again that man, Raza who came to the rescue. He became only the second player after Kallis to score twin eighties and take a 5-fer in a Test, a record he will be proud of. He showed tremendous resilience and found an able ally in Moor, weaving a 98-run partnership to go beyond parity. Once the duo departed, the tourists were once again on the prowl but Chakabva and Cremer started a blockathon and Holder went defensive. He didn't put much pressure on both the lower order batsmen and that meant Zimbabwe sailed into safe harbours. This Test will be memorable for the home side as they drew it for the first time in 12 years. Stay tuned for the presentation....
Earlier, the hosts put up a commendable show with the bat, going past the 300-run mark courtesy a brilliant century from Masakadza and an enterprising 80 from Raza. The visitors responded in style. Though they were teetering at 230/7 as Raza spun a web with a 5-wicket haul, the pair of Holder and Dowrich stitched a record-breaking 212-run stand for the 8th wicket, bailing their side out from a precarious situation. Both of them scored a century to help their team earn a 122-run lead.
The Windies take the 2-match Test series 1-0, their first one away from home in 5 years. However, they will be disappointed with the result of this game as they were the firm favourites heading into Day 5 but didn't have enough gas left in them. They picked up two wickets in the first session but the valiant Raza carried on to lead the fight for the home side. Though he departed and Cremer got a reprieve thrice, nothing can be taken away from the Zimbabwe skipper and Chakabva. They stitched the longest eight-wicket stand (91 off 292 balls) for their country and ensured safety for their side.
That's it, THE MATCH ENDS IN A DRAW! Both the skippers have a word with each other and decide to call it a game after having a conversation with the umpires. A match which has seen a lot of eventful moments but shuts in a tame manner. Special mention needs to be given to Cremer and Chakabva who were resolute when it mattered the most while Raza was undoubtedly the hero for them.

Just short! Loopy ball on off, Cremer looks to turn it across but is early into it. Ends up chipping it uppishly towards Brathwaite at silly mid on. He dives in front but can only take it on the bounce. Blackwood has a long followthrough this time and also a wry smile on his face.

Jermaine Blackwood To Graeme Cremer
Bye! Fires this one down the leg side, Cremer looks to clip it away but misses. The ball stays low and Dowrich fails to collect it cleanly. A bye conceded. It has been a difficult track for the keepers. Variable bounce on several occasions have made life difficult for them.
