So that's it from us for this game. The series is now leveled at 2-2 and not sure how many of us would have predicted that when Afghanistan needed 5 runs in more than 20 overs with 5 wickets in hand and yet lost the third ODI. But it is how it is and Afghanistan need to get act together. Do join us for the decider between the two sides on February 26, 2017 at 0930 local (0730 GMT). Until then, it's goodbye and cheers!
Chris Mpofu is the Man of the Match for his superb bowling performance. He had bowling figures of 7.5-2-25-3, so a richly deserved award that.
Earlier in the day, Zimbabwe did most of the damage with the ball, bowling out the visitors for a paltry 111. Yes rain did help them but the fact that Afghanistan were 5 down for 46 meant that they were always playing catch up. Tendai Chatara was the best bowler for the visitors. The hosts will be delighted with their performance while Afghanistan will want to forget this game as soon as possible.
Chasing a score of 105, the Zimbabwean openers in Peter Moor and Solomon Mire, came out all guns blazing sharing a 79-run stand. It had more or less sealed the game in their favour before Nabi gave the visitors a hope with the wicket of Mire on 46. Zimbabwe lost two more wickets after that but Peter Moor played through for his 36 to avoid any further hiccups for his side.
What a turn around it has been! From looking set to losing another ODI series to Afghanistan, Zimbabwe have risen from the Ashes to not just beat them twice but have leveled the series 2-2 with an emphatic seven-wicket win (By DLS method)! The crowd is delighted and why not, this has been a clinical performance from the hosts.

After 20 overs, Zimbabwe are 94/3! (Target 105) - A brilliant passage of play for Afghanistan. Rashid Khan has struck but is it too late? He castled Tarisai Musakanda for 4. Nabi then struck to have Craig Ervine caught behind for 1. Sean Williams is the new man in. The visitors have not given up yet and could they really win this game from here? Zimbabwe need only 11 more runs in 22 overs.
