So that's it from us for this game. Hope you enjoyed our coverage of the ODI series. Pakistan will be happy with the win and will look to carry forward the momentum into the Tests. The first Test begins on April 21, 2017 at 1000 local time (1500 GMT) in Jamaica. Do join us for all the action. Until then, it's goodbye and take care!
Pakistan skipper, Sarfraz Ahmed credits Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez for playing really well. Reckons that the target was not that easy but the way Hafeez and Malik played, it looked really easy. Congratulates his team for playing good cricket throughout. Ends by saying that they lost the first game due to poor fielding and he did not want that to happen again so he kept giving his piece of mind to the players from behind the stumps.
Man of the Match and Series, Shoaib Malik says that he is really happy with the win. Appreciates the innings Mohammad Hafeez played because that reduced the pressure on him. Reckons that he was struggling a bit on the field with his throwing arm due to the age factor. Credits Sarfraz Ahmed for his exceptional leadership. Ends by congratulating the West Indian team for playing good cricket.
West Indies skipper, Jason Holder feels that the Pakistan batsmen played spin really well. Admits that they started well but could not capitalise on it during the middle overs. Credits the groundsmen for making such a good wicket. Ends by appreciating his younger players for putting in good performances.
West Indies should be disappointed with the way they have performed. They were decent with the bat and ball at times but far from competitive in the field. They dropped far too many catches and had too many sloppy efforts. Yes, they competed but it is high time they get past the stage of looking to compete and start to play hard fought cricket resulting in wins. Jason Holder will be aware of it and will be hopeful that his team can actually turn things around someday. No such worries for Pakistan though, Sarfraz Ahmed would have been under pressure but has come through nicely, winning his maiden ODI series as a captain.
The home side did begin well in the chase, reducing the tourists to 36 for 3. But the pair of Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik ensured that there were no further hiccups with a magnificent 113-run stand. Both of them nullified the spinners with ease which showed their class. There was an lbw shout against Hafeez which was out but West Indies did not review it and who knows what could have happened had they opted for it. Hafeez missed out on his ton getting out for 81 but Malik didn't and saw his team through with an unbeaten ton.
Pakistan have beaten West Indies clinically to take the series 2-1! After losing the first ODI, the disappointment was evident on their faces and boy, how well have they turned things around. They will be mighty pleased with their effort. They have outplayed the hosts in all three departments of the game and deservedly won the series.

Jason Holder To Shoaib Malik
SIX! 9th ODI ton for Shoaib Malik! What a way to get the century! Length delivery around off, Malik takes his front leg out of the way and hammers it down the ground for a biggie. With that shot, Malik is pumped up and so is his captain Sarfraz Ahmed on the other end. The players are all out in the field and celebrating. PAKISTAN HAVE WON THE MATCH BY 6 WICKETS!

Short delivery into the body, Malik did not expect that but he still goes for the pull. Cannot time that well as he gets a bottom edge which rolls away towards the keeper. He wants his century it seems.

FOUR! Good shot! Another fuller ball outside off, Malik waits for it and lofts it over the bowler's head for a boundary. Is he looking for his century? More importantly can he get there?

Dropped! Walton drops another one! Angling into the pads, Malik clips it towards the fielder at mid-wicket. Walton puts in a full stretch dive to his right, gets his fingers to it but cannot hold onto it. Just sums up West Indies' state of cricket. Malik was all smiles when he saw that catch being dropped. Gabriel was not impressed but not sure if he can blame anyone with his efforts on the field. The batsmen manage to run a couple.
