Earlier in the day, after electing to bowl. Sydney Sixers got timely breakthroughs to restrict the Stars to 150. In reply, Moises Henriques batted brilliantly to take his side over the line with a fine knock.
Melbourne Stars bowled well for the majority of the innings but their fielding let them down! The likes of Zampa, Boult and Wood were really good but a dropped chance and also some misfields and crucial time took the game away. Also, the dew towards the end did not help. Overall though, they just were not upto the mark in this game.
That is a top effort from Moises Henriques, the skipper has really led from the front and taken his side over the line. Sydney Sixers were were in a spot of bother after the partnership between James Vince and Kurtis Patterson! They lost the two quickly and the run rate went upto 9. Jordan Silk was struggling but Moises Henriques batted brilliantly. He played a very calculated knock to take, got timely boundaries to take the pressure of Silk who later started to play well. THe two added around 90 to take their side over the line.
