Quinton de Kock, the South African skipper, says that obviously you need to get to a great start while chasing. Adds that the Australian openers had a strong start and says our bowlers did very well to bring them back into the game. Credits Lungi Ngidi for a superb bowling performance. De Kock also says that Malan played beautifully and franchise cricket has helped him. Quinton further says they are happy with the series victory and it is good for South African cricket.
Lungi Ngidi and Jannemalm Malan are the joint Men of the Match. Lungi Ngidi says that he is very happy and if you knock off the big three, you get confidence. Adds that he used cross seam and scrambled seam deliveries. Mentions that they have been told to work very hard on their death bowling. Ngidi further says that the comeback from injury has worked very well for him.&nbsp;Malan says that he is happy with his performance. Adds that they needed partnerships and the partnership with Smuts was a crucial one for them. Mentions with the sun going down the ball skids on very well.
Aaron Finch, the Australian skipper says they were 20-30 runs short. Credits South Africa played really well to chase this total. Adds that they got a good opening stand but they did not get a bigger knock from any player. Mentions they lost their way in the last few overs while batting. Finch also says it is a new role for D'Arcy Short and he has done well to adjust it. Ends by saying they would look to improve their performance. 
On the other hand, Australian bowlers were smashed all around the park. Mitchell Starc started off very well and gave a great start to the visitors as he took the important wicket of Quinton de Kock. The spinners also could not apply that extra pressure. Earlier in the day, Aaron Finch and David Warner gave them a good start of 50 runs. Warner did not last long. Finch and D'Arcy Short's partnership proved to be crucial for them as they got a move on. Mitchell Marsh and D'Arcy Short stitched a 66-run stand between them. It has been an excellent performance by South Africa. Janneman Malan has played a fantastic innings for his hundred. He has played a very calm innings in this pitch. Klaasen and David Miller gave him good support. Quinton de Kock again did not get off to a good start as he was clean bowled by Starc. Earlier in the day, the South African bowlers bowled well and restricted Australia to 271. Lungi Ngidi was the start for them as he picked a 6-fer.
