Quinton de Kock, the South African skipper, says that obviously you need to get to a great start while chasing. Adds that the Australian openers had a strong start and says our bowlers did very well to bring them back into the game. Credits Lungi Ngidi for a superb bowling performance. De Kock also says that Malan played beautifully and franchise cricket has helped him. Quinton further says they are happy with the series victory and it is good for South African cricket.

On the other hand, Australian bowlers were smashed all around the park. Mitchell Starc started off very well and gave a great start to the visitors as he took the important wicket of Quinton de Kock. The spinners also could not apply that extra pressure. Earlier in the day, Aaron Finch and David Warner gave them a good start of 50 runs. Warner did not last long.
