Right, then. Phew! What a day, folks! First Punjab defeated Pune with authority and now, Bangalore nicked a heroic win against Delhi. Tomorrow, we have another double header for you. Hyderabad will host Gujarat first at 1600 local (1030 GMT), then Kolkata will be travelling to India's heartbeat and face the boys from Mumbai at 2000 local (1430 GMT). Do join us for it. Till then, cheers!
Man of the Match, Kedar Jadhav feels he's on top of his game and credits his fitness level for the same. On the big hits, he agrees that at the age of 15 he just managed to clear the 30-yard circle but the moment he got power the ball started to travel over the fence. Accepts he is a short guy but opines that he gives cent percent attention to his fitness and gym. Makes a huge statement by saying he wants to take the responsibility when the top players in the side are out injured.
Bangalore skipper, Shane Watson is really happy with the win. Straightaway praises Kedar Jadhav for the way he batted but feels their total was just a bit below par. Mentions that the energy shown by his team was something they need to carry forward. On the wicket, he opines it was a bit slow tonight. Emphasizes that this is such a format where momentum matters as the tide can turn in seconds. On giving Negi the final over, he informs that it was his gut feeling which made him toss the ball towards Negi. Adds Pant had not seen him tonight and hence the decision. Is really delighted that the gamble worked wonders for them. Ends by praising Chahal for bowling so well under pressure and admits he's one of the finest bowlers for his side. On the news about the fitness of their key players, he chuckles and says they'll be back in the next game.
Delhi skipper, Zaheer Khan says 8/10 times they would have got this total but were just unfortunate today. Admits wickets falling at regular intervals was the reason for their downfall. Thinks the partnerships didn't get going, they needed to spend some time in the middle which they weren't able to and that was their undoing. Credits Rishabh Pant for batting the way he did after the demise of his father and says everybody has supported him. Mentions they have a good balance of spinners and pace bowlers so he is happy for Shahbaz Nadeem that he got a game today as Jayant Yadav is also waiting in the wings. Is humble in knowing that it's a process which takes time but is happy with what they've got. Wants to just do better in the upcoming matches and kick on from there.
A lot of credit has to be given to Shane Watson. To bring on Pawan Negi, who's not bowled all evening, to bowl the last over of the innings, against an in-form Rishabh Pant, was a bold move. It paid dividends as the spinner got two wickets and gave away just 3 runs in it. Bangalore will be happy with their bowling, as they fared quite well given they didn't have a good enough score on the board. Earlier in the evening, Bangalore reached a score of 150-plus on the back of an explosive fifty from Kedar Jadhav.
Chasing a target of 158, Delhi got off to a decent start but then just crumbled with wickets falling at regular intervals. Rishabh Pant, however, played a gem of a knock as he scored a quickfire fifty. At one stage, the visitors needed 37 off 24 and were still very much in the hunt, but a reckless approach from Amit Mishra at that time saw balls being consumed and things getting very difficult. The pressure kept mounting and it proved to be too much for Pant to do anything about it.
A highly entertaining contest! Some good bowling, a fighting knock from young Rishabh Pant, some brain fade from Amit Mishra and smart captaincy at the death has seen Bangalore clinch an amazing victory at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The crowd has something to cheer about as Bangalore have their first win of the tournament.

Pawan Negi To Amit Mishra
That's it, BANGALORE WIN BY 15 RUNS AND HOW! Mishra dances down the track and connects one when it doesn't matter. The ball rolls towards long on for one. Watson is all smiles, Negi earns the limelight in what turned out to be an epic game of cricket.

Pawan Negi To Shahbaz Nadeem OUT!
OUT! Negi has another! Loopy delivery around middle, Nadeem looks to slog it across the line but gets a top edge towards mid-wicket. The bowler runs to his right and swallows it all by himself. What a stunning display from the home side. Nobody can stop them from winning this battle now.

Pawan Negi To Shahbaz Nadeem
Safe! Tossed up around off, turning away a bit as Nadeem looks to heave it. The keeper collects the ball and whips the bails off. Is Nadeem's leg in the air? They take it upstairs and replays show the batsman manages to drag his foot behind.
A stumping appeal against Shahbaz Nadeem is being referred upstairs by the umpire.
Shahbaz Nadeem is the next batsman in.

Pawan Negi To Rishabh Pant OUT!
OUT! Bowled 'em! Pawan Negi has delivered it on the very first ball! Is that the game? Should be! Fires it on leg, Pant gets down and across to play the slog sweep but misses it completely and the leg stump is uprooted. The crowd keeps chanting "RCB! RCB! RCB!" Rishabh Pant walks back and would be disappointed to not help his team cross the line.
Pawan Negi will be the one to bowl the final over. He has not bowled a single over in the innings. Big moment for him to come in at the most crucial stage of the match. 19 runs needed to win for Delhi. All their hopes lie on Rishabh Pant. Are we in for a twist?

Shane Watson To Amit Mishra
This time Mishra looks to play the paddle scoop but fails to connect it yet again. This is really tough for Delhi now but nothing to take away from Watson. Such a brilliant over, just 2 off it!

Shane Watson To Amit Mishra
Another swing and a miss! Mishra is trying to clear Chinnaswamy here! Fuller in length, in the line of the stumps, Mishra swings it across the line only to meet the thin Bangalore air. Another dot ball, which keeps hurting Delhi but gets the crowd going.

Shortish outside off, Mishra slashes and gets beaten once more. What an over from the skipper, he's bowling so well.

Shane Watson To Rishabh Pant
Good length ball on off, Pant drills it down to long on. Binny cuts it off in the deep and keeps them down to just a single. This won't help Delhi.

Shane Watson To Amit Mishra
A shout for LBW! Angles in a length delivery on middle, Mishra hops to flick but misses as the ball goes off the pads towards the off side. An appeal is made but the umpire turns it down. It's given as a run so maybe there was an inside edge. Replays show there was no bat involved. Lucky shave for Mishra!

Shane Watson To Amit Mishra
Swing and a miss! But Mishra doesn't need to be a hero here. Just tap and give the strike to Pant. Fuller in length and around off, Mishra wildly swings at it and to no surprise he gets beaten.

Tymal Mills To Rishabh Pant
SIX! In the air... and above the fence! Slower short ball on middle, seems Pant anticipated it. Swivels and pulls it over fine leg for half a dozen. A much-needed strike that and this will keep Delhi on the edge of their seats. 21 needed from 12 balls!

Tymal Mills To Amit Mishra
What was that? It was a back-of-the-hand slower delivery from Mills, it rises off the deck and Mishra has no clue about it. He tries to take the evasive action with his right hand as the ball dies down. Watson complains to the umpire but no action taken.
2nd Indian T20 League fifty for Rishabh Pant!

Tymal Mills To Rishabh Pant
Very full and sprayed outside off, Pant gets low and flat-bats it towards mid on for a single. Reaches his fifty, he's played amazingly well but the job isn't done yet.

Short of a length delivery outside off, Mishra arches back and ramps it towards third man. A double taken.
