So that's all from us in this series. Credit to all the players in the World XI for agreeing to tour. If anything, this showed that Pakistan is indeed ready to host matches and is safe for playing cricket. Willfully it shall help in regularizing the sport in the nation. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. Till the next time, goodbye and take care!
PAKISTAN SKIPPER, SARFRAZ AHMED thanks the almighty as usual, first up. Praises his lads for the entire effort and then delves into the start given by Rumman Raees and then Fakhar Zaman and eventually, Babar and Shehzad. Credits the fitness trainer for improving their fitness levels which is shown on the field in terms of the run outs affected. Is proud of his young team's batting and bowling. On the future, Sarfraz is of the opinion that proper chances should be given to the players as most of them are very young. Pakistan has a lot of talent and if proper opportunities are given, the country can go a long way in this sport. Thanks the crowd, then the security, the government, the PCB and finally, the curator for preparing excellent pitches throughout the series.
It is now the turn of the home side's players to receive their medals.
World XI skipper, FAF DU PLESSIS reckons that this series was a huge success. Adds that he would love to come here with the World XI unit again. Credits the opposition saying that there's a lot more energy and the way they fielded it showed. Commends their bowlers for bowling the yorkers and slower balls. Their batters did well too he opines. Ends saying that his is an easy dressing room and thanks everybody, including the crowd, for the hospitality.
The World XI players receive their medals now.
BABAR AZAM IS THE MAN OF THE SERIES.
AHMED SHEHZAD IS THE MAN OF THE MATCH. He says that he was trying to play according to the situation and as he failed to score big in the previous matches, today he decided to bat long and his move to stay till the end paid off. He says that he's working hard on his batting and his fitness. He thanks the coaching staff, support staff and the players for supporting him even when he wasn't scoring big. Congratulates the PCB for conducting this series the way they did. Says that even the opposition players are happy with the arrangements for the series. Ends saying cricket wins and the entire country loves the game.
Credit should be given to ICC and PCB for organizing this series. It showed the world that the sport can be played in the country. This has resulted in Sri Lanka agreeing to play a T20I here later in October and the West Indies in November. Stay with us as we bring you the presentation in a while.
So, cricket is back in Pakistan! The home side showed how potent they are in their own backyard. It's not easy to beat them there. But the World XI couldn't be really faulted for faltering as that's a side comprising a number of players from various countries. So it isn't really easy to gel immediately and get favourable results.
Miller played a good knock but not a dangerous one. He was the last thorn in Pakistan's flesh. Once he fell it was curtains for World XI. All in all, it was a complete game for the hosts as they managed to put up runs on the board and the bowlers helped them defend that.
The Pakistan bowlers were on the money for most of the time in the game. Their pacers Hasan Ali, Rumman Raees and Usman Khan struck regularly so as to not let the opposition off the hook. Shadab Khan had another off day as he went wicketless and was carted to all parts by Perera, who threatened to take the game away yet again. But once he fell, the visitors never seemed to trouble the hosts.
What a game for Pakistan! In the end they manage to win it without much ado. The World XI batsmen it seems were hell bent on gifting the game away. As many as three run outs show just that. They were off to a good start as Iqbal and Amla looked fluent at the start. But eventually they lost their way, owing to no useful contributions from the middle order.

Rumman Raees To Darren Sammy
A flick shot it will be to end the innings and match as Sammy brings up the 150 for World XI - some sort of respect in an otherwise one-sided contest. PAKISTAN WIN BY 33 RUNS AND TAKE THE SERIES 2-1!
