That's it from the T20I series from our side, we will be back with updates for the ODI series starting on 25th January at 1500 local time. Till then, take care and cheers!
MAN OF THE MATCH - COREY ANDERSON, for his swashbuckling innings of 82 not out that provided the Kiwis with a perfect end. He also picked the priced wicket of Ahmed Shehzad.
The pick of the bowlers, though, were Adam Milne and Grant Elliott who both took three wickets each for eight and seven runs respectively. Sarfraz Ahmed was the only one in the Pakistani side who put up any kind of a fight against the Kiwis scoring 41 of 36 deliveries but was left stranded as he got no support from his team mates.
IT'S OVER! PAKISTAN ARE ALL OUT FOR 101 IN 16.1 OVERS! New Zealand take the series with a thumping victory. The Kiwis have been excellent with the ball as well as in the field in this match. Trent Boult set the Kiwis up by getting Mohammed Hafeez out and that got them off to a flier. Followed by excellent bowling spells by Adam Milne, Grant Elliott and Corey Anderson, they kept the pressure on the Pakistani batsmen and kept getting wickets on regular intervals, never letting the batsmen settle and find their rhythm.
