Virat Kohli says that it was a clinical performance. Mentions that it was a par total on this pitch and it was a balanced performance by them which is really pleasing. ROHIT SHARMA has been named the MAN OF THE MATCH. Says that he is feeling good and winning the match was really important. First ball was really interesting as he didn't know how the pitch will behave. Adds that it was a par score, not a winning score and credits the Indian bowlers. Further says that he enjoys batting with Dhawan and mentions that they understand each other's game. Feels getting 325 is always a good effort. On the venue, he replies that it's a beautiful stadium and feels that it's always nice to play in an open ground.

Clearly the Kiwis lacked technique. They lacked patience too. 324 was supposed to be 20 runs short. It has proved 90 too many in the end. When Martin Guptill's run out was missed on 0, it seemed like it is going to be New Zealand's evening. But what followed after that was just a side struggling to come to terms to against some very good bowling. The Indian seamers were relentless while 'KULCHA' then finished things off.
Another highly hyped New Zealand-India ODI. Another one-sided contest. Another disappointment. Sigh. Having seen the way the India-Australia series panned out, this is a sheer let down.

OUT! There goes the final wicket! INDIA WIN BY 90 RUNS! Chahal gives this one some extra air and lands it full outside off, Ferguson takes on the challenge to clear long on but ends up hitting it straight down Shankar's throat in the deep. The Men in Blue had to work really hard for the last two wickets, took them 57 balls. Anyway, they go 2-0 up in the series after yet another dominating performance.
