KANE WILLIAMSON is the Man of the Match for his match-winning fifty.
The Bangladeshi bowlers began well with spring in their strides but weren't penetrative enough to trigger a collapse. Mustafizur Rahman was the standout bowler while Shakib Al Hasan and Mashrafe Mortaza were good too but they failed to click together as a bowling unit. It isn't easy to defend a modest target of 142 at the home ground of the Black Caps and the home side pulled it off with ease in the end. They once again proved why they are the best ranked T20I side in the world.
Williamson and Grandhomme finish it off in style for the Kiwis! The hosts were in a precarious situation when they lost four wickets for 62 runs but the brilliant 81-run stand between the duo sealed it off for them. Williamson kept on batting with sheer poise and grace and showed nerves of steel. From the other end, Grandhomme displayed his big hitting skills too.
