So, a historic series comes to an end. Nepal have created history, winning their first series against Test playing nation. Rohit Paudel collects the trophy and joins his teammates. From here, there's only one way and it's up. For West Indies, we have seen many lows and this one adds up to the list. They have avoided the whitewash and that's the only positive for them from this series. This concludes the series. Hope you enjoyed the coverage. Goodbye and cheers for now.
Akeal Hosein, the skipper of West Indies says it was an excellent effort and a clinical one from the team after losing the first two matches. Tells they tried a different opening combination after assessing the conditions. Admits have been disappointing for a while. Hopefully, they can turn it around leading up to the World Cup. Ends by crediting Nepal for the way they played. They played well in the first two games and today they experimented and played ona  green track.
Kushal Bhurtel wins the PLAYER OF THE SERIES AWARD.
Ramon Simmonds wins the PLAYER OF THE MATCH AWARD.
Rohit Paudel, the skipper of Nepal says he is proud of the team for the way they played. Tells they didn't turn up today but winning a bilateral series against a Test nation gives a lot of happiness. Shares they gave away regular wickets and failed to stitch a partnership. Reckons this series will give a lot of confidence to the boy and will act as a build-up for the Qualifiers and hopes to make it to the 2026 T20 World Cup.
...Presentation...
Earlier in the game, Nepal were bowled out for 122 runs after being invited to bat first. Kushal Bhurtel's 39 off 29 balls was the highlight, but the middle and lower order struggled to build momentum. Despite a 41-run opening partnership, wickets fell regularly, and Nepal couldn't post a competitive total. For West Indies, Ramon Simmonds was the star of the show, taking 4/15 in just 3 overs. Jediah Blades picked up 2 wickets, while Akeal Hosein and Jason Holder supported with key breakthroughs.
Nepal knew they were coming into the chase well short of runs and Rohit Paudel can't blame his bowlers here to defend such a score. They did showed what they are capable of with the ball in this tour but with the series in the bag, bit of laid back performance was seen as Nepal allowed quite a few freebies to roll in.
A consolation win for West Indies but they have ended the tour with a massive performance. Playing with authority, West Indies have shown what they are capable of as they have made  amockery of this under-par score. The openers scored runs freely, at one point Amir Jangoo did struggled but after soaking in the pressure, he went bonkers and scored six sixes to single-handedly win the match for his team.
