Shakib Al Hasan, the skipper of Fortune Barishal, says that he knew he had a good bowling attack and though they were short with the bat, the bowlers did a great job. He adds that Mujeeb Ur Rahman has been doing well for Afghanistan and he will be available for the tournament now and it is good for the team. He adds that they have a good batting lineup but they have not been able to click and it is one area of concern but the bowling has been very good.
Mehedi Hasan Rana is the Player of the Match.
Mushfiqur Rahim, the skipper of Khulna Tigers, says the wicket was very chasable and it was a gettable score but unfortunately, they lost too many wickets and no partnership was built. Adds that Mujeeb Ur Rahman is their best bowler and a big threat but they bowled really well. Ends by saying that they have one day's rest and will come back strongly and rectify the issues.

The bowlers have been putting effort in this season for Fortune Barishal and again they showed how good a bunch of players they are. Fortune Barishal were off to a dream start with Mujeeb Ur Rahman running riot. They did well to build the pressure and got the result as wickets. Only, Mushfiqur Rahim was a threat for them but they kept their calm and didn't give away any cheap runs. They kept on building pressure and in the end, they did really well to defend the low total with determination. Mehedi Hasan Rana finished with 4 wickets to his name but overall it was a brilliant performance from everyone.
Gutted for Mushfiqur Rahim, he was the lone man fighting but wickets started tumbling at the other end and eventually, the pressure got too big on him. Khulna Tigers were in trouble early on as they lost both the openers in the first over. A small partnership was built between Najmul Hossain Shanto and Towhid Hridoy but they too perished. Then Rahim and Yasir Ali came together to calm things down and they did well to put things back on track. The good thing for them was Rahim was there out while wickets were tumbling on the other end. At one stage, the way Thisara Perera played, it looked like an easy chase but no support was given to Mushfiqur Rahim from the other end.
Last 30 deliveries, 42 for 6. Khulna Tigers started falling like a pack of cards. 142 has been defended with an over to spare. What a bowling performance this is from Fortune Barishal. Finally, a win for them and this performance will help them change the momentum.
