And that will be it from this thrilling contest. With that win, Australia Champions climb up to number two on the points table. However, the action will continue in the World Championship of Legends, as the game between the West Indies Champions and the Pakistan Champions is about to start in a short while. So switch your tabs and jump onto that game as we sign off from this game. Take care! Goodbye!
Brett Lee, Captain of Australia Champions, He feels it was a beautiful batting wicket. On asked about the strategy in the chase, he says they wanted to take it deep, as even in their bowling innings, the last 4-5 overs went for plenty, and hence they wanted to take it deep. When asked about the team environment, he says the team environment is great, as in the last game Lynn did well, in this game it was Callum Ferguson who did well, so he is happy to watch everyone contributing. On the surface, he says, it’s a batsman’s game, and he would love to be a batter on this surface.
Yuvraj Singh, Captain of the India Champions. When asked about getting 203 on the board, he says the target was enough and he feels the batters did a decent job. He adds that the Aussie experience paid off as a big partnership saw them get very close to the total. He feels they didn’t bowl well in the death overs. He finishes off by saying they will look to get their first win in the next game.
Callum Ferguson, Australia Champions. On his knock, he says it was a real challenge to chase it down. He adds that it wasn’t easy to bat in the middle, as there was some hold in the wicket. When asked about what his role was when he went out to bat, he says the role was to get the job done and bat till the end, and he is happy it came off for him.
The Presentation ceremony....
Earlier in the day, India Champions put on a mammoth 203-run total on the board on the back of Shikhar Dhawan's blistering 91 not out. Yusuf Pathan too did a great job towards the end of the innings as he scored a fifty inside 25 balls. For Australia Champions, Dan Christian and Peter Siddle did a decent job with the ball in hand, as the former picked up a two-fer and the latter bowled a very economical 4-over spell.
India Champions bowlers provided the ideal start for their side as Piyush Chawla ran through the Australia Champions top order, picking up 3 wickets in the first 11 balls of his spell. However, once Callum Ferguson and Dan Christian got together, India Champions' bowlers were short of answers as they crumbled under pressure. Dropped catches too played a role in India Champions' failing to defend 203, as 2 catches went down in the chase.
Phew! What a game of Cricket! At 65/4 no one would have given a chance for the Australia Champions to chase down this big total, but Callum Ferguson and Dan Christian had other ideas as they put on a mammoth 90-run stand of just 50 balls. Ben Cutting and Rob Quiney also played useful cameos in the end to see Australia Champions home. However, it was Callum Ferguson who emerged as the hero for Australia Champions, as he scored an unbeaten 70 off just 39 balls, staying right till the end.

Oh dear! Slower delivery, fuller in length, sliding way down leg, Callum Ferguson looks to sweep it but misses. Wide given.
So 13 needed of the lat 6 balls. Irfan Pathan who hasn't yet bowled today, is here to bowl his first over, which will be the final over of the game. Can he do the job for his team?
