So that is it from this game. England have sealed their place in the semi final. West Indies are out of the race for the semi final spot. It will be double header on Monday, 2nd March as well. First Sri Lanka take on Bangladesh first. That match will begin at 1100 local (0000 GMT). Join us for that one. Till then, cheers!
England skipper, Heather Knight says that they spoke about running really well and did that as the pitch was on the slower side. Tells they needed to be clever with both the bat and ball. On the batting changes, she says they wanted to change somethings and credits Tammy to show. Says Mady is a great kid and she is happy for her performance. Tells they were getting nervous looking at Pakistan and just wanted to win.
West Indies vice-captain, Anisa Mohammed says that they will need to go through the scans before making any comment on how serious Stafanie's injury is. Tells injury is something they can't control and they were unlucky tonight. Tells they were good on the field. Admits England got away in the death overs. Tells they need to work on their batting and they are disappointed not to qualify for the semi-final.
For her brilliant batting display, Natalie Sciver has been named the Player of the Match. Sciver says that it is coming off the bat nicely and it was a bit of a different innings today as the wicket was on the slower side. Says they knew if they batted well they could win this. Tells there was a game here before this and they knew they had to bat smart and well.
Earlier in the evening, after opting to bat. England put up a very good total of 143 on a slow wicket courtesy of 57 from Natalie Sciver along with starts from Danielle Wyatt and Heather Knight. Cameos from Amy Jones and Katherine Brunt also helped them go past 140. It was a decent bowling effort from West Indies as four bowlers picked up one wicket each.
A very professional performance with the ball from England. They bowled according to the plan and bowled on the surface which was a tricky one to bat. Sophie Ecclestone was the star with the ball as she ended up with 3-wickets. Mady Villiers and Anya Shrubsole had one wicket each. Overall it was a professional bowling display from them.
Chasing 144, West Indies' reply never got going. They kept lost Deandra Dottin and while Hayley Matthews was struggling at one end, Stafanie Taylor was settling in. But the injury to skipper dented the confidence of the side and after her departure the Carribean side just threw in the towel. There was a late cameo from Lee-Ann Kirby but it was too little, too late.
A sorry performance with the bat from West Indies and their hopes of qualifying for the semi-finals also comes to an end. Supreme performance from England has sealed their spot in the final four stages of the tournament.
