Earlier in the match, the batting of Delhi Bulls was all about Tom Banton, who received a couple of lives. He made 46, and the Bulls' innings revolved around him. With the ball, the Bulls bowled with discipline and maintained the upper hand but towards the end, they fell at the wrong side of Kieron Pollard.
Chasing a stiff target, the Strikers lost a couple of wickets inside the Powerplay and it took them some time to recover. Eoin Morgan and Azam Khan led the rescue act with their partnership but they found it tough to bat with fluency. With every passing over, the required rate kept on mounting and eventually, Morgan got out in an attempt to up the scoring ante. Kieron Pollard arrived at the crease with 40 needed off 15 balls and the rest as they say is history.
Absolute thriller and Kieron Pollard has done it! The 'Man Mountain' showed that the fire is still burning and his power game is still going strong. He took on his best friend in the final over and hammered the required runs with two balls to spare. KP has sent the fans into delirium.
