So we are done and dusted with the warm-ups. They have served well as an appetizer, now it's time for the main event. We are just a couple of days away from the beginning of the biggest event in world cricket. Hosts England take on South Africa in the opener of the World Cup on 30th May. That game will begin at 1030 local (0930 GMT). Make sure you join us for that one. Till then, Cheers!
Virat Kohli says the biggest positive to come out of the game was how KL Rahul batted at number 4. He says that KL is a great guy and needs confidence. Also praises Dhoni as well as the bowlers who played their best game in this one. Suggests it could be tricky to decide what to do first in these conditions as it does get better to bat in the second innings whereas there is spin as well. But the Indian skipper feels that the swing in the morning is very important and can decide how the game pans out at time. Regarding Rohit and Dhawan, Virat mentions that they wanted to bat second today but he is not too worried about them as they are quality players. Kohli admits that with so much cricket, warm-up games might not be that motivating for some. States that 50-over games can be difficult and that today the last 15 overs were challenging on the field, especially because they were running through the motions as there was no contest. He though tells that in case it is the real World Cup going on, there will be no lack of intensity.
Bangladesh skipper, Mashrafe Mortaza says that after Ireland and this game they have had enough match practice for the last 4 weeks. States that there are some small niggles but they want to take care of the bowlers considering the first match is just two days away for them. Reckons that their top order is batting well and different people are putting their hands up at the right time, and hopes they will know their roles come the group stage.
Earlier in the day, India after being put into bat put 359 runs on the board courtesy brilliant tons from KL Rahul and MS Dhoni. After the top order collapsed the two put on a 164-run stand for the 5th wicket and put on a massive total on the board.
As for India's bowling, 7 bowlers were used in total. Hardik Pandya did not bowl any over in this game and the four seamers, Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar, Shami and Vijay Shankar bowled just 20 overs between them. Jasprit Bumrah was the only pacer though to get into the wickets column with his 2. The day though belonged to the Indian spinners, especially the two front-line wrist spinners. Chahal and Kuldeep bowled 20 overs amongst themselves and picked up 3 wickets each. Jadeja too picked up a wicket in his 9.3 overs. But Kuldeep picking up wickets would have boosted his confidence after he was going through a lean patch. Overall it was a good day for the Indian players ahead of the start of the mega event.
Chasing 360, Bangladesh got off to a solid start, with both openers, Soumya Sarkar and Liton Das getting off the blocks quickly. Sarkar though could not continue and was dismissed to Bumrah. Shakib who came next went out for a golden duck. Rahim and Liton Das though then steadied the ship with a 120 run-stand with both batsmen getting to their respective fifties. But after that Bangladesh kept losing wickets in regular intervals and never actually looked to get close to India's total.
Comprehensive victory for India in the end. This match has cancelled out any fears Indian supporters and think-tank would have had regarding the team. Bangladesh, meanwhile, have a few things to think about and would be hoping that it was just a one-off before the World Cup.

Ravindra Jadeja To Rubel Hossain OUT!
OUT! He is well short! Dinesh Karthik has removed the bails and the dive from Mehidy will not save him. INDIA WIN BY 95 RUNS!!! A flatter ball on middle, another huge swipe across the line from Rubel and he misses again. The ball goes off the pads and between slip and keeper. The batsmen complete 2 leg byes easily but Mehidy wants the third to come back on strike. The fielder in the deep throws to the keeper's end where Karthik removes the bails and appeals. The square leg umpire takes it upstairs and the replays show us that this ball will be final one of the World Cup warm-ups! A commanding performance from India!
Run out appeal taken up! The batsmen try to take three runs and might have ended up being run out here. Mehidy dived but looked short to the naked eye. Let's see what the replays have to say!

NOT OUT! The batsman was in easily. A length ball on middle, driven towards mid on. The mid-wicket fielder runs to his left, picks up the ball and fires a direct hit at the bowler's end. The batsman though is easily in and the umpire just takes it upstairs to check the same. Replays roll in and show it is not out.

Six runs! Overthrows! Mehidy looks to punch this ball away but it goes away fine on leg side off the inside edge. Rahul there runs to pick up the ball but the batsmen come back for the second. The throw though is a really wild one and hence it runs away to the fence with no one backing up in that angle. 6 runs totally and Kohli is not pleased!
Run out appeal taken upstairs. Mehidy Hasan is the man in question. He looks to be home let's see what the replays have to say though.

NOT OUT! The ball is pitching outside leg, just as one felt! India lose the review. A length ball bowled outside leg, Saifudding misses the ball as he looks to flick it away. The ball goes onto the thigh pad and Shankar appeals but it is turned down. Meanwhile the batsmen have run for a leg bye. Virat Kohli takes this upstairs though but the replays confirm the umpire can stay with his original decision.
Review time! An LBW appeal from Shankar is turned down by the umpire. It looked like it pitched outside leg to the naked eye. Let us see what the replays have to say!
