It was a shaky start for Zimbabwe in the chase with plenty of wickets falling quickly. Then came Elton Chigumbura and he completely turned the game on its head. We witnessed some awesome power-hitting by him as he took the UAE bowlers to the cleaners. He was nicely supported towards the end by Maruma and Zimbabwe managed to get what they wanted from this match. A win, a big win!

Outstanding batting by Chigumbura has powered Zimbabwe to a comfortable win and that too in 13.4 overs, which has boosted their NRR. They now move to the top of the points table and will now rely on the outcome of the Netherlands vs Ireland match for their qualification to the main draw.
