Victorious St Lucia Zouks captain, Daren Sammy, is very happy with the way the top order batted for the Zouks. Lynn and Lewis threatened to have a terrific Powerplay, but once Lynn fell to a ripper of a catch from Najibullah Zadran, the Zouks pounced. It is always difficult for a new batsman to bat well on this deck and that showed. Chase and Nabi stifled the batsmen and the run chase never got going after that.
Excellent display by the Zouks. They began well with the bat but then lost way, before Nabi's cameo took them to a par score. But with the ball, they were clinical.
