Williamson fought like a lone warrior but he ran out of partners towards the end. Afridi and Imad Wasim were the main chokers from the Kiwi point of view while Wahab Riaz finished with 3 wickets.
Given the short ground and home conditions, one expected the Kiwis to romp home, especially when Munro was batting. But his wicket led to a collapse and the home side could never recover.
Stop the press. NEW ZEALAND have actually lost at home! A terrific start to the year 2016 by Pakistan. They batted well, then fended off some brutal hitting by Munro and later some class act by Williamson to win by 16 runs.
