So, that is it from this game! The action does not end here though as there is another game coming your way and it is an important one. It is a clash between the Giants and the Warriors. That game begins at 1930 local (1400 GMT). See you there!
Thisara Perera says they will be trying a few players in the next game as well and he is happy with how the youngsters did in this game. States if they play good cricket, they can surely do well in the next two games too and they are always trying to give their best. Mentions he is not bowling because he has 5 good bowlers but he might in Hambantota as the wicket suits the pacers.
Angelo Mathews says they were not firing with the bat throughout the tournament and hence, they needed to change things. Adds they have one game left and they need to win that. States Perera and Banton did not do that well at the top and they wanted to just see how they do down the order and they will fire.
Tom Kohler-Cadmore, MAN OF THE MATCH, says he would have loved a ton but his first aim is to do well for his team and get the two points. States all the players are hitting form at the right time and he hopes they can continue the form.
... PRESENTATION TIME ...
Like they have been in the tournament, the Jaffna Kings' bowlers were on song. Their spinners were brilliantly and even the pacers played their part. Seales was the pick with a four-fer but everybody bowled well. Overall, it was a clinical performance from the Kings despite resting two important players. They have sealed their place at the top of the table with this win.
Another thumping win for the Kings! They just seem unbeatable at the moment. Something close to 200 was always going to be an uphill task and if they were going to come close, they needed a good start but that was not the case. They lost three within the Powerplay. Banton and Perera then tried re-build but Perera fell. Banton was the only one fighting it out there, he was the only one who crossed the 20-run mark. That probably indicates how poor the Stars were with the bat. In the end, they have lost by more than 100 runs.

Lovely analysis by HD Ackermann on air. He talks about the approach towards batting by the Colombo Stars. HD says that is it not something new that all teams in this age look to copy England and go hard at the opposition while batting. But they also need to understand their resources and not just blindly copy, he adds. Stressing for Colombo, Ackermann says that they have a wonderful team with plenty of stars but they need to be a bit more sensible with their approach towards batting. They are adopting a hit-the-ball hard approach and when it comes off, it looks good. But if it doesn't, which happens more often than not, they end up being 24/3 inside the Powerplay, like today.

CRICKET UPDATE - Couple of things to tell you guys. Another day, same old story for England. Be it the 'Gabba or Adelaide, their fate and performance continues to be poor. They started the opening day of the second Ashes Test brightly, with Jos Buttler taking a blinder to dismiss Marcus Harris in the first 30 minutes of the day. But after that, it has been hard toil, with Australia ending on a commanding 221/2. England dropped catches once again, with Labuschagne being let off twice, both by Buttler. A 172-run stand between David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne has put the Aussies in ascendancy, with Warner dismissed for 95 and Labuschagne going to bed on an unbeaten 95. And all this after the Aussies received a jolt this morning with newly named skipper Pat Cummins being ruled out of this Test, for coming in contact with a player positive with Covid-19. Steven Smith, though temporarily, is back with the reins. Talking about Covid, there are rumours of the remainder of the West Indies' tour of Pakistan being called off, with 5 new people testing positive this morning. However, the latest rumour is that the players have left for the ground and we should have this game at least.

Maheesh Theekshana To Ashan Priyanjan OUT!
OUT! RUN OUT! Not sure what the two batters were doing there! That is a bad mix-up. Ashan Priyanjan comes down the track and works it to square leg. He casually takes off. Dhananjaya de Silva also takes a start but then stops. Ashan Priyanjan spots that and he too stops. The two batters are almost standing together at the centre of the wicket. Maheesh Theekshana To Dhananjaya de Silva
PUT DOWN! Not the easiest of chances! Vijayakanth Viyaskanth is the culprit. This is on middle, Dhananjaya de Silva sweeps again and does so powerfull. It goes uppishly towards square leg. The fielder dives to his right and looks to take it but it spills out. This could well prove costly.

Maheesh Theekshana To Dhananjaya de Silva
FOUR! Off the mark in style! Really good shot. The sweep is not a bad option against Maheesh Theekshana! Dhananjaya de Silva moves right across and this is on off, he sweeps it over square leg, no one in the deep. Boundary.
