While TP Sudhindra  has been banned for life, Shalabh Srivastava has been banned from playing for a period of five years. The other three - Mohnish Mishra and Amit Yadav and Abhinav Bali - have been handed a year's ban each.
While Mishra had issued a written apology ( read May 16 report here) days after the sting operation was aired saying that he had 'done it casually to increase his value,' Srivastava had claimed innocence.
