A livid Chennai Super Kings skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni stressed on the need to address recent defeats while stating that Chennai Super Kings would need to score "230" since the new ball bowlers were not providing with breakthroughs in the Indian Premier League.
"The easier thing would be to chase in each and every game. Today, I went in and ate up quite a few deliveries. I think 185 was a decent score but under par," the skipper said.(Also read: How Warner's 45-ball 90 left Chennai Super Kings stunned)

"We have been rising to the challenge, looking to control what we can. Good thing that we bowled first. Credit to Warner and Dhawan. After a few games, you tend to look for ways to improve and Warner has always been better up the order. We can now just hope things go in our favour," Sammy said.
Warner on his part gave a lot of credit to Shikhar Dhawan for supporting him well at the top of the order where he loves to bat.
