Navdeep Saini took to social media to share a photo with Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant, which was taken during the third Test match between Australia and India at the Sydney Cricket Ground, which is also called the Pink Test. The match ended in a draw with the trio putting in fabulous displays for the visitors. Captioned as the "three musketeers", the trio can be seen wearing pink caps, which was an initiative by Glenn McGrath to create awareness towards breast cancer in Australia. The initiative was part of the McGrath Foundation, where the former Aussie pacer is co-founder and President.
It was also Saini's Test debut, in which he registered the dismissals of Will Pucovski and Mitchell Starc during Australia's first innings. Meanwhile, during Australia's second innings, he scalped the wickets of Marnus Labuschagne and Matthew Wade.
Gill had put in a good display, scoring 50 and 31 runs during the match.
Pant was one of India's stars in the game, slamming a brilliant knock of 97 runs off 118 balls during his side's second innings. Many pundits and fans considered his knock to be the turning point in the match, helping India steer to a rather impossible draw. Pant also scored 36 runs in the first innings. It is worth noting that Pant received an injury during the first innings, and batted in the second innings under medication.
With the series tied at 1-1, both sides face each other in the decider, which begins from January 15. The match will be held at The Gabba, in Brisbane.
