Exhausted Oscar Pistorius leaves court after giving evidence as judge grants adjournment

Judge Thokozile Masipa granted the defence an adjournment until Tuesday saying blade runner Oscar Pistorius, who is accused of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day last year, not only looks exhausted but also sounds tired.

Oscar Pistorius's trial for murder adjourned Monday after his lawyers said he was exhausted by a lack of sleep and the first day of testimony. (Read: Crying Oscar Pistorius apologises to murdered girlfriend's family)

"Well he does look exhausted, he sounds exhausted," said Judge Thokozile Masipa, granting the defence an adjournment until Tuesday. (Read: Tension-filled court proceedings take emotional toll on tribunal)
